Amesbury Abbey Group Hosts Inaugural Inter-Home Games Ahead of Rio 2016.

6th August 2016

Inspired by Rio 2016, the Group  held its first Inter-Home Games to get everyone into the Olympic mood! Teams were made up of staff from across all departments at each of the Group's three schemes, from gardening to care and management to administration. Competitors duked it out in 8 different contests, including the 'bed making challenge', tug of war and three legged race (Manxman Mark Cavendish, Olympic Medal hopeful was very impressed).

The battle was hard fought but the Sutton Superstars eventually came out victorious gaining the first gold medal of 2016 and paving the way for a fantastic haul by team GB in Rio.
